“Stuck” – Hart Of Dixie

On it’s fringes, Hart of Dixie was a medical show, but it was really a fish out of water, romantic comedy with more meet cutes and love-sick characters than you could shake a stick at. It dealt in the commerce of cute, and it was a feel good show at almost every turn.

Rachel Bilson is no exception. She really is just about as adorable as you can get. Even her overly enthusiastic portrayal of Zoe Hart didn’t grate the way it should have.  As the Yankee transplant doctor to a small Alabama town, Zoe had a lot to prove. Eventually she grew on them, and audiences, and she became embroiled in several love triangles.

Zoe bounced between Wade and George over several seasons, never quite able to decide between the two. Wade out-abbed George by a long shot, so naturally Zoe picked Wade. It was Wade’s father, for that matter, that fell into his own booby trap in the woods and almost had to have his leg amputated. Zoe drops into the hole/booby trap to give Earl some care, and Wade had to go in as well, to help get them both out.

The best thing about his dad falling into a hole in the ground is that Wade eventually took his shirt off.
