Here are 13 Actors We Think Can Play the Next Doctor on Doctor Who

4. Tatiana Maslany

Now that Orphan Black is coming to an end, Tatiana Maslany is pretty free, right? So maybe give her the role and watch what she can do with it. A woman who can play multiple roles on the same show and make them all completely different and unique is a woman that we can trust with our lives.

So it would be amazing to see her take on the Doctor! Everything she does is pretty amazing and spot on, so she’d do the Doctor justice. And she already has a fanbase from BBC America that would carry over to Doctor Who.

Again, the idea of a woman taking on the role leaves many with a bad taste in their mouth (which makes no sense) so the chances of her being the Doctor are slim. But it would be great to see. Too bad many are against the idea. To them, the Doctor is a specific character that shouldn’t change. Which is insane since the Doctor changes every few seasons.

But truly, Tatiana would do a great job in the role. She is an incredible actress and it would carry over well into her tackling the role of the beloved Doctor.
