A woman as the lead on Doctor Who is something that is highly debated by fans. Mainly male fans but still. They just want the Doctor to remain as he always was: a white man traveling through space and time. Honestly I think they’d be happier if a man of color took on the role over a woman.

But we have seen that Time Lords can, in fact, regenerate into women. The Master did it and so, if the Doctor so wishes to, he could easily become Natalie Dormer and make fans across the land happy. I mean, what man would be mad that Natalie Dormer took on the role?

Probably a lot but still, it’d be amazing. The problem, much like Idris, is her schedule. She’s a big time actress now so trying to get her to do a television show might be hard. But it would be incredible to see. She’d definitely have that fun vibe the Doctors before her had while also giving us a new way to look at the Doctor.

Imagine the Doctor in a cool skirt, kicking some butt in space. It’s an image that would make little girls across the world so happy to see.
