Breaking News: Peter Capaldi to Depart Doctor Who After Season 10

It is true Whovians, Peter Capaldi is leaving Doctor Who after the tenth season. And we’re none too happy about it even if Capaldi is.

Well everyone, it is time to say goodbye to the sexy Doctor for Peter Capaldi is leaving the show. Capaldi is currently playing the 12th reincarnation of the Time Lord and he has become one of the most beloved Doctors. But now, his time has run its course.

After his third season as the Doctor, Peter will be stepping down.

It’s always sad when an actor decides to leave the show but it is even sadder when it is someone who loved the show very much. With Capaldi, he has been a life long fan of the show and it has been wonderful to see him geek out over the aliens and see how he made the Doctor his own. And, in the words of fangirls and fanboys everywhere, he is the sexy Doctor after all.

While we don’t know for sure if it is because of Moffat’s departure, we can know that the show will have a whole new face come season 11. Literally. There will be a whole new man leading the show. Or maybe a woman, who knows!

But soon we’ll probably have an announcement. Until then we have all of season 10 with Peter Capaldi as the beloved Time Lord. And, even luckier for us, we will have one more Christmas Special with the Twelfth Doctor.

Sadly though, once again, we’ll have to see a Doctor regenerate on Christmas Day.
