Okay, let’s talk Abby Griffin. And then never stop talking about her because she’s just incredible.

Abby Griffin is the mother that none of us deserve. She loves her daughter fiercely but she’s also loyal to her people, just like everyone else on this show. She risked getting her husband floated to protect her people, her daughter, and ultimately, the future of the Ark. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right? I think her moral compass is continually on track and you learn that in the first few episodes of the entire series. She uses more supplies than she’s allowed to save the chancellor. She tries to trade morphine for a pressure regulator to get down to earth. She’s always doing what is best, even when she knows it’s wrong. Hell, she even almost gets floated for it! Yet when she’s about to be blown out into space, her only thought is getting into contact with the delinquents, yelling to Jackson to try and reverse the wrist bands. Like I said, the mother none of us deserve.
