Storybook Cosmetics Has Two New Collaborations in Store

Storybook Cosmetics will go for both the whimsical and the dystopian in two upcoming collections, though neither has been released just yet.

Storybook Cosmetics has been having a pretty good time as of late. Not only have they announced their efforts to make Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Game of Thrones brushes (which yours truly still wants, because painting your face with a lightsaber seems like a very powerful thing to do), they’ve also just announced two more collaborations.

First up is a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory palette:

The accompanying press release has some more details. There will be 12 shades of eyeshadow, including “mattes, metallics and pearl finishes”. Naturally, they’re also all “highly pigmented”. We’d expect no less from something inspired by the works of Roald Dahl, and also fully expect some scrumdiddlyumptious colors.

Although there’s no hard release date yet, the Instagram post promises a summer 2017 release date for the palette.

Additionally, Storybook Cosmetics also has another collaboration coming up, this time with Lionsgate for a collection based on The Hunger Games (presumably the film representation and not the books):

This one we don’t know quite as much about. However, we’d expect gold to dominate any sort of palette released, with a lot of dark colors to contrast. Alternatively, one might expect a whole host of colors to represent the excess of the Capitol. We’ll just have to wait and see.

In fact, they’ve also already announced some arrow-themed brushes, too, which seems like the correct choice for a Hunger Games palette. The two collections don’t appear to be related, though.

These brushes will drop in the spring, presumably after any and all pre-sales of the Wizard Wands brush collection come to a close and that collection becomes fully available for purchase.
