5. Rogue One

Honestly you are probably reading this because you saw Rogue One.  If not, I guess good on you for just loving Diego Luna regardless but you should probably go and see this beautiful film. It came out at a time when this country truly needed to have something to look up to.

We needed hope and we got it with this movie. Yes, it introduced many of us to Diego Luna and Donnie Yen and so many amazing actors but it also brought to life a story that many Star Wars fans were always dying to know. We wanted to know how Leia got the plans to the Death Star and how Darth Vader let there be a flaw to destroy the entire thing and now we know the answer.

Rogue One was just something absolutely amazing and we all luckily got to experience it at a time when we truly needed it. Hope was slowly being lost and then this film came to us and that changed everything.

Many people held up signs with Cassian and Jyn during the Women’s March, many of us had “I rebel” tattooed on our bodies from a trailer from Rogue One. It is slowly changing the world and for the better.
