24. Diego Telling a Room of Hollywood Elite to Shut Up

Everyone was excited for the cast of Rogue One at the Golden Globes. Riz Ahmed was there because he was nominated for The Night Of and Diego and Felicity Jones were presenting at award. For some reason, no one was respecting people this year and talking over presenters and speeches alike.

But certain presenters weren’t having it. Cuba Gooding Jr. yelled for everyone to be quiet and it wasn’t nearly as sweet and nice as Diego. However, Diego’s was more revolutionary. Mainly because he stood up in front of a room of Hollywood elite and told them to shut up in Spanish and then proceeded to speak in Spanish during his presenting.

Truly, it was something special. Diego wasn’t going to let anyone disrespect him, the category he was presenting, or his fellow presenter. So he told them all to shut up and the internet went crazy. Mainly because no one had every stood up in front of a room filled with people like Meryl Streep and told them all to silence themselves.

Diego is a man of many talents and telling all of Hollywood’s best and brightest to shut up and then speaking in Spanish to present was definitely one of those amazing talents.
