22. Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights

To put into perspective how many women fell in love with Diego Luna, I will give you this story. My coworker, who had never seen a Star Wars film in her life, came with me to see Rogue One. She had no idea what it was about and didn’t know who was in it.

We watched the beginning scene with Jyn and Galen, we watched this man go into a dark corner to get information. And then, half way through the scene, I heard a gasp and felt her grab my arm. She loudly said “OH MY GOD IS THAT DIEGO LUNA?” When I responded with a yes, she went on a minute long rant about how hot he was in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.

For someone who has never seen the movie, I take every mother’s word for it. Go ahead, as your mom. I’m sure she’s seen this movie and thinks he’s hot because of it. It’s a weird phenomenon but at least we know that he is universally attractive to everyone.

So go watch those hips move in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights and appreciate whoever thought to make this skinny boy a dancing magic man in the sequel to Dirty Dancing.
