20. That Smile

For actors, a smile is important. I’m not saying that having a teeth is a thing an actor should have. I mean, everyone should have teeth. But rather that a nice smile can make or break an actor. If you’re smiling and the world seems a better place, maybe you’re doing something right.

With Diego, that’s exactly what it is like. His smile just lights up a room and makes you forget the world is out there. I’m not being dramatic, it is true. He just makes everything seem a little bit better. And maybe that’s because he’s constantly smiling.

A lot of the times, actors smile when they need to and then stop. It is a force of habit more than something genuine. With Diego, he seems to only want to smile. And that’s something we all could aspire to do more.

He is just a generally happy man (seemingly). Half the time, everything with actors is forced and it doesn’t seem like they enjoy what they’re doing. But Diego just is happy to be wherever he is and that is something everyone can look towards with praise. If we all loved what we were doing as much as Diego seemingly does, we’d all be happier.
