For fans, an actor who loves them is very important. It sucks when actors don’t care about their fans. Mainly because without their fans, an actor doesn’t really have anything. So with someone like Diego, his fans are super important to him.

For instance, there is a man who went to see Rogue One with his daughter. He has a very thick Mexican accent and felt connected to Cassian because of his accent in the movie. The story touched Diego so he shared it on his Twitter account and the story is still making its way around the internet.

Many relate to this man because for them, their heritage and people like them are nowhere near the silver screen. But it seems like Diego makes a point of making films that keep his accent or celebrate Mexico.

But that’s not the only fan encounter worth noting. Diego constantly takes his time with fans at premieres and talks to anyone and everyone about his work and anything they want to talk about.
