Did Someone Say Sanvers-Centric Valentine’s Day Episode?

Sanvers shippers rejoice for EW just dropped a serious bomb on us all with news of a, and I quote, “Maggie/Alex-centric Valentine’s Day episode.”

Yes, you read that right. No, your eyes do not deceive you. We’re getting a “sanvers-centric” valentine’s day episode this season and I don’t know about you, but I am here for that. And if it’s anything like that morning scene in Supergirl’s 2B premiere then we already know it’d going to be as adorable as possible. Swoon with me.

They’re even teasing us with a picture:

I mean, is that a corsage I see?

Is Maggie in a suit?

Are we going to prom?

Are we getting married?

DO WE CARE?!? Look at them!

Love is definitely in the air for these two and fans are going nuts about this Supergirl leak. This is part of Entertainment Weekly’s #25Scoops25Days where, you guessed it, EW is bringing fans 25 scoops in 25 days from winter TV shows.

Here’s what we know so far:

“Alex (Chyler Leigh) is super excited for her first Valentine’s Day with a girlfriend, but Maggie (Floriana Lima) is not keen on the Hallmark holiday, which leads to their first real fight. But Maggie will make it up to Alex by recreating a special night — note the corsage on her arm!“

This episode will be airing on February 13, leaving you free on Valentine’s Day proper to celebrate in any way you chose. For me, that’ll be rewatching this episode of Supergirl with a bottle of wine (or two).
