Game of Thrones Season 7 Spoilers: Winter is Coming this Summer (Premiere Date)
Anxiously we have all waited for a new season of Game of Thrones but the wait is finally over. Well, at least the wait for a premiere date is over.
If you follow our Game of Thrones updates here on Culturess, you know that for a long while we’ve been saying that Game of Thrones returns this year. That’s it. No specific date and nothing to really nail down when you’ll see your favorite characters once more.
That’s because we didn’t have a date. Well, until now. Recently it has been revealed through IMDB that the season 7 premiere for Game of Thrones will hit our television sets on June 25, 2017. Now, don’t get too overly excited.
IMDB was also the same site that told us we would see Catelyn Stark’s return back in season 5 and we all know that didn’t really happen. So check out our little fanfiction corner below about how we think IMDB likes to handle Game of Thrones.
IMDB Thrones
“We never really have any leeway with Thrones,” one disgruntled employee of the Internet Movie Database said loudly one afternoon. “Everyone knows their favorite characters and actors and don’t use us.”
He wasn’t wrong. The fans did know their favorites and didn’t really need IMDB. So they were going to get clever. The last time they lied about Game of Thrones, Vanity Fair reported on it. So maybe they can get two shoutouts by the esteemed website. Maybe they’d finally get the recognition from Thrones fans that they deserve.
“Let’s throw up a random premiere date and see what happens!” He exclaimed, smiling as his cohorts nodded. They’d get their glory once more.
