25 reasons Arya should win the Iron Throne
3. She’s a world traveler
From the North, to the South, to Essos and all the stops in between, Arya’s well on her way to seeing the entirety of the Known World. And that’s something that could be beneficial if she chooses to help her brother Jon in his war for the North.
Arya has seen some stuff in her short time on this earth. She’s barely seventeen as we head into Season 7, and has already learned to navigate herself around the globe. In a world where some people never see outside of their homelands, this is quite an impressive skill. But the thing we like about Arya is that she’s not world-weary yet. She knows she’s seen more than most people, but doesn’t balk at the fact that there’s always something to learn. Her curiosity with the pointy end of swords helped her flee King’s Landing in Season 1, and it’s what kept her alive for most of Season 2.
This Stark girl moves around as much as her sister Sansa, so they’ll have some valuable input on how people in other lands interact with one another, and what’s the best tactic in winning them over. Fire and Ice are set to meet in Season 7 (in the form of Dany and Jon) so we’re sure Arya’s global travels will help in some way.
