20. She can play many roles

Arya just may be one of those people who likes to pretend. That is, after all, what acting is all about, as she learns from Lady Crane in Season 6’s “Blood of My Blood.” Even an actress as talented as herself sees the kind of dramatic potential a girl like Arya can bring into the world.

Someone like Arya will do anything they need to in order to stay afloat. In her training with the Faceless Men, she adapted a persona named Lanna who sells oysters, clams, and cockles on the pier. No one suspects that she’s training to be an assassin since her acting skills are so on par. But this doesn’t mean we’re limiting her ‘role’ choices to just specifically acting.

Arya has to wear several hats during her time in Westeros. She had to convince a Riverlands farmer that “her father” The Hound was just suffering some post-war PTSD, so they could be fed for the night. She also had to act like a lowborn stone mason’s daughter in order to win over the good graces of Tywin Lannister, and it’s not entirely clear how much he saw through her veil. This is just another indication of Arya’s adaptability and her willingness to roll with the punches, even if that means taking on a completely new hairstyle in order to suit her needs.
