14. She has a future in the warfare arena

The Stark women are no stranger to the intricacies of Westerosi warfare. Arya’s mother Catelyn was with her son King Robb nearly every step of the way, and now her sister Sansa is following in those footsteps. When it comes to Arta herself, we think she would be much more comfortable on the battlefield instead of watching each clash take place.

Arya has a fighter’s spirit. It’s something we think she inherited from her parents and having seen her older brothers train with each other for years. But this doesn’t mean we think she would pull off anything that The Mountain has ever done. Arya has kept to a strict code when it comes to fighting. Syrio Forel taught her to have respect for the art of combat instead of relying on brute strength and intimidation to win.

The knowledge Arya has picked up and her time across the sea could prove very useful to her brother and sister in Winterfell. The biggest storm of them all is coming, and like Ned Stark always promised, winter is here, and Season 7 should prove how necessary it is to have some semblance of combat skills. Arya may mostly have one-on-one sword skills, but with the threat of the White Walkers who are well on their way, any good army will take all the help they can get.
