5. Eurus Holmes

Eurus Holmes was always someone we wanted to see. For as long as fans loved Sherlock, we have wanted to see the third Holmes sibling. We didn’t know who they’d be, just that we wanted to know them and why they weren’t actively in the life of Sherlock and Mycroft.

Then we met Eurus and completely understood why no one wanted her around. It’s not that she is terrible (well, she is but still), it’s just that she is absolutely insane. And not in a Sherlock way. She killed a small child because Sherlock had a friend. That’s pretty crazy.

But rather than get her help, Mycroft sent her away to a prison where she used her abilities to make everyone in the prison on her side. She then put both her brothers through the wringer with the most elaborate game of all time. It was outstanding and so smart and Eurus Holmes is one of the most terrifying human beings on the planet.

She doesn’t care about anyone except for Sherlock and that means she will willingly kill people to get what she wants. While Eurus is back in the prison, maybe we’ll see more of her since we did see Sherlock visiting her at the end of the season.
