10. The Final Problem

The entire episode of “The Final Problem” was one big shocker after the next. From the fact that Sherlock and John were never really in control of the situation or that Red Beard was never an actual dog, the episode just flipped everything we thought we knew around.

First of all, Red Beard was a small child that Eurus killed as a little girl because she hated that Sherlock and Mycroft both had people and she didn’t have any friends. It was a sad realization for us as the audience because we had always seen Red Beard as Sherlock’s childhood dog.

But now, knowing the truth, makes all of those flashbacks and stories completely different. And not even that, the whole episode was just filled with random moments. So yes, all of “The Final Problem” is one of our shocking moments because it is hard to pin-point one moment that was more surprising then the next.

I mean, they did escape a bomb going off in 221B Baker Street as well as almost dying in the jail. How do you expect us to pick just one crazy moment out of that? It’s impossible! There’s no way to chose one instance in “The Final Problem” so the whole episode gets a shout out.
