Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda dropped 8 new demos from the Tony award winning musical and it makes us love him even more!
Lin-Manuel Miranda created Hamilton: An American Musical and no one could have predicted its impact on the world. From breaking records with their Tony nominations to the continual praise of the show, everyone just can’t seem to get enough of Hamilton.
And it’s nice that Lin isn’t trying to keep it from us. Now, after the release of the first volume of the Hamilton Mixtape, Miranda is giving us demos. And oh boy are they fun to listen to!
For someone who’s favorite song from the show is “Say No To This”, listening to Lin’s version is pretty awesome. It isn’t really anything like the one we got in the show but it still is super cool. Especially with the mash up of “Satisfied” and “Helpless”.
It is just fun to listen to Lin try and sing every part. He’s no Jasmine Cephas Jones, that’s for sure. But Lin clearly loves this musical just as much as the rest of us do. Every song is a bit different than the soundtrack we have memorized by this point but, until we the second part to the Hamilton Mixtape, it’ll hold us over.
Well, kind of. While Lin singing these songs are great and all, we want that “Schuyler Sister” remix as soon as physically possible.

So while it is still nearly impossible to see the musical, you can have a bit of your fill on Lin singing your favorite parts! Hopefully soon they’ll make a Hamilton movie and make all our dreams come true but until then, we’ll take Lin trying to sing every part in the whole musical.
