Alec Baldwin Will Host Saturday Night Live for the 17th Time

Forget the Five Timers Club, Alec Baldwin is heading towards his 17th hosting job at Saturday Night Live on February 11th with musical guest Ed Sheeran.

Alec Baldwin may be on Saturday Night Live pretty regularly now playing Donald Trump but that doesn’t mean he can’t still host. In fact, Baldwin will host SNL on Feb. 11 with muscial guest Ed Sheeran, according to Variety.

Alec has been getting a lot of heat from our current president for his portrayal of the billionaire turned world leader. Maybe because he’s accurately playing Trump and making sure we all realize what a fraud Trump really is? Who knows! But Donald Trump has complained about the show time and time again.

The best part? There is a tweet by Donald about SNL almost every week. If he hates it so bad, why does he keep tuning in? But Baldwin isn’t letting it get to him in the slightest. He is actively making Trump’s life miserable and it is great.

So can we expect some Trump impersonation during his hosting episode? Will we get a resurgence of Schweddy Balls? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see on Feb. 11, but that doesn’t mean that’s the next time we’ll see Baldwin on Saturday Night Live. He wasn’t in this weeks episode but maybe after their short break, he’ll take the stage. (SNL is airing a rerun this Saturday night instead of a new episode.)

No matter what sketches they bring back or even if Baldwin plays Trump or not, it’ll be a great episode. It always is when Alec is involved and maybe that’s why he got the job playing our current commander in chief.
