11 Reasons Why Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is Perfect

11. The importance of those you love
The series could be absolutely horrible to sit through if it wasn’t for how much these children love each other. They all clearly loved their parents but seeing the three of them and how much they care for one another is a shining moment in the otherwise grim tale.
They are the focal point of each other’s lives. Without Klaus, Violet wouldn’t be able to go on. Not just because he is the researcher to her inventive mind but because that is her brother. They just all three love each other more than anything else in their world and it makes for a wonderful dynamic to see on screen and in the books.
You could have had these three kids fighting each other left and right and it just wouldn’t work as well as the series does. They love each other and that is almost enough for them to get through everything that is thrown at these poor kids.

So if you love the books or even if you just love a good story, I’d say watch Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. It does a great job of telling the story that Lemony Snicket laid out before us and I’m personally very excited to see what lies ahead!
