8. Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling is the face of the “Hey Girl” meme. For years, he shied away from that image and didn’t really open up about it. But then he spoke to Vanity Fair and confirmed his standing as our feminist love interest that we all love and wish was our boyfriend.

“I grew up with women so I’ve always been aware of it. When my mother and I walked to the grocery store, men would circle the block in cars. It was very, very scary, especially as a young boy. Very predatory—a hunt.  It’s our time as men to be on the receiving end of the stick. I think women are better than men. They are stronger, more evolved.”

If that quote didn’t do it for you, maybe watch his speech from this year’s Golden Globe awards where he praises girlfriend Eva Mendes repeatedly rather than taking any glory for himself.

Again, Ryan Gosling is perfect and if you want to fight about it, Ryan will probably tell us to stop and that women are better than that. That’s for men.

Honestly, he just continues to prove that there are still amazing men in Hollywood. Their names just have to be Ryan Gosling and they have to like jazz.
