7. John Legend

John Legend has shown us time and time again that he is more than just a good musician. In his video for “You & I (Nobody in the World)”, John promoted acceptance of women and their body image issues. He continues to speak up about body shaming and featured Laverne Cox in the video showing that women of all walks of life are extremely important.

He also continues to talk about how the world would be better if we all cared about women and their fight for equality. And he is one of the few men out there who doesn’t seem to care that their wives are more important and famous then they are. Honestly I feel like if you called John Legend “Chrissy Teigen’s husband”, he’d be super excited about it.

“All men should be feminists. If men care about women’s rights the world will be a better place… We are better off when women are empowered — it leads to a better society.”

John is right and the fact that this amazing musician is also so vocal about the rights of the LGBTQ community and women everywhere gives us all hope that maybe there can still be a change in the world.
