Here she is in a Peter Soronen variation for the 2010 Mexican State Dinner, with Mexican First Lady Margarita Zavala. (That’s President Felipe Calderon’s arm on the right hand side.)

For her second pass at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2010, she wore a rocket red Prabal Gurung sheath.

Meanwhile, she made waves at the 2010 State of the Union speech by wearing another designer who became a household name through such programs as Project Runway: All Stars, as well as his willingness to design for the Target customer, Isaac Mizrahi.
