Betty White, the Angel on Earth, is 95 Years Old Today!

Everyone loves Betty White, and for good reason! She’s Betty White! Today is her 95th birthday but she doesn’t look a day over 40.

Betty Marion White Ludden (or Betty White for her close friends) turns 95 today and we’re all excited about it. Why? Because Betty is perfect. When you look for the perfect person, most people talk about Betty. She is funny and smart and one of the greatest actors we have around. And she looks incredible at the young age of 95!

Famous for her role as Rose in Golden Girls, Betty has continued to prove herself as a comedy queen. But Golden Girls isn’t her only claim to fame. Betty has been filling the entertainment game since 1945. That’s right, some people have lived their entire lives in the time that Betty White has been working in Hollywood. Honestly, it is incredibly impressive.

She’s even older than Queen Elizabeth II and still up and running about. Just think, at the age of 89 she was hosting Saturday Night Live! Some people can’t even do that in their twenties and Betty had one of the best episodes of all time at 89.

If you still needed convincing as to why you should honor this woman today, she is also just a generally great person. Betty is universally loved by all. Just ask anyone who they would put in their celebrity vault. The answer is almost universally Betty.

And she’s an inspiration really. Working as hard as she has throughout her life and proving that even when you’re past 50, women can still get work in Hollywood changed the game. Betty White is one of the most important people out there and we owe her a very happy birthday because of it.
