His Loyalty for His Friends

When Captain America woke up in this crazy, current world, he knew no one. He certainly didn’t know who to trust. And after getting thrown into a group of people that includes Tony Stark, a Norse god, and a guy who has serious anger management issues, he wasn’t about to make friends there either.

It’s not until The Winter Soldier where Cap finds some common ground with people. He’s teamed up on SHIELD with Black Widow, and theirs is more of a forced relationship. But as the movie goes on, they create something real out of it, and we see that friendship even in Civil War.

His newest friend is Sam Wilson, aka Falcon, whom he forges a bond with because of their past service to the US. Sam doesn’t care that he’s Captain America, and it’s a breath of fresh air to see someone poking fun at Cap in a friendly way (as Tony’s usually come off as jabs).

Of course, when Bucky returns, Cap loses it. The Winter Soldier is hard to watch at times because you can just see the pain Cap holds inside as he has to fight his oldest friend. It spills over into Civil War as the world hunts for Bucky Barnes.

His loyalty shines through in the ending of Civil War when he infiltrates the Raft to rescue everyone from the government’s clutches. No man left behind!
