Seth Meyers Takes On Donald Trump’s Press Conference

Donald Trump held a press conference this week and Seth Meyers wasn’t letting the president elect off easy during his segment A Closer Look.

This week, Donald Trump held a press conference about “fake news” and Seth Meyers wasn’t about to let him get away scotch free. In fact, he likened the world we’re living in to the Upsidedown from Stranger Things. We’re all just Barb, floating in this weird alternate reality and trying to figure it out.

Seth went on to criticize Trump’s ‘folders’ and his plea to the public to show that he is separating himself from his businesses. All those folders were apparently documents he signed but, as Seth points out, they looked pretty blank to everyone watching.

The entire segment of A Closer Look was great because it was just Seth ripping apart Trump and his choices for his cabinet bit by bit. He mainly focused his attack on Rex Tillerson and show the incompetency that is slowly filling Trump’s White House.

But the best part of the segment was Seth pointing out the reason for the press conference. Mainly because they showed Donald Trump at his worst. Buzzfeed, the news source that leaked the Trump Dossier, was called a “failing pile of garbage” by the President-elect. So, rightfully so, the website had some questions. But Trump wouldn’t answer them and called the reporter rude when he, himself, was the one being rude.

All Seth did was show the clip but it proved any point about Trump you can make.

It is important now that we listen to people like Seth Meyers. He is well researched and knows what he’s talking about. But, you know, it might just be ‘fake news’ because even real news is fake to Donald Trump.
