More developments have surfaced from Iceland for Game of Thrones‘ continuing efforts in filming the seventh season of the show. With a hat tip to our sister site, Winter is Coming, two more actors have arrived in the island country: Joe Dempsie and Paul Kaye. Now, you may very well recognize Dempsie. But Kaye?
Kaye plays Thoros of Myr, the red priest who worked alongside Berric Dondarrion and who revived him multiple times. Interesting development? You bet. Check out the photo below.
WiC speculates that both characters will join Jon Snow. (Kit Harington has also been seen in Iceland as of late.) Since we agree with WiC, it’s time to tell another silly story.
A silly Game of Thrones story follows.
Now, we’ve already dubbed Jon Snow Mr. Fantastic and the leader of the Westerosi Fantastic Four. However, the foursome now appears to have become a sextet. That means it’s time to hop over to DC for a little inspiration in the form of the Secret Six.
Most of these characters don’t know each other, other than Jon Snow and Tormund Giantsbane. (The other two characters are the Hound and Jorah Mormont.) Since the Secret Six don’t know who their leader is, it doesn’t quite work. We think it’s pretty clear that the King in the North will lead this mission to find and capture a wight. It’ s not as cool of a name as Mockingbird, but we don’t think he’d like being associated with Littlefinger. It seems like it would be a pretty covert mission. Besides, the Six don’t always like each other, especially not when they’re a team of villains as they have been in the past.
