Good News for Spider-Man Fans: He’ll be in Infinity War
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has captured the hearts of everyone after Captain America: Civil War but now, he is going to appear even more frequently!
Fans of the Marvel universe can rejoice because their beloved Spider-man is now slotted to be in The Avengers: Infinity War. And he’s joining quite the jam packed cast. It was announced a while ago that Zoe Saldana will be playing Gamora in the movie as well.
Many were worried about whether the deal between Marvel and Sony excluded Spider-man from being in any of the Avengers movies. But clearly that isn’t the case.
The all-star cast includes Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Renner, Benedict Cumberbatch and Brie Larson. Know that that means? Not only will we get Spider-man in Infinity War but we also get Peter Quill, Doctor Stephen Strange, and Captain Marvel!
Marvel released its plans for the next three years of movies and got fans super excited. Especially for Spider-Man: Homecoming and Black Panther in 2018. The franchise has gotten a lot of flack in the past for its lack of diversity and it seems to be trying to make up time. They will also release Captain Marvel in 2019.
But through all this, at least we know one thing for sure: we can expect Peter Parker to make appearances more frequently. All the worry fans had about the deal Marvel made with Sony can vanish. At least we know he can be featured in stand alone films as well as the Avengers series.
