Kellyanne Conway Interviewed By Seth Meyers Last Night

After being the first woman to run a successful presidential campaign, Seth Meyers sat down with Kellyanne Conway to talk politics and Trump’s future.

I’ll say this- I have to admire Kellyanne Conway for coming on Seth Meyer’s show last night. Especially after the intelligence leak that literally had just happened moments before. It’s clear the two have very opposing opinions about politics and the future of this country. But Seth Meyers being Seth Meyers made it all a little bit better for us all, intertwining comedic relief between talk of Russian investigators, the FBI, and leaks about Donald Trump.

Meyers wants to make it very clear to Conway that he definitely does not agree with the #NotMyPresident movement, that he absolutely knows that Donald Trump is about to become his president. “So much that it’s keeping me up at night,” he mentions. He then brings up the very recent breaking news of “allegations that the Russian government has compromising information on Donald Trump.” Conway reminds him that they’re all just allegations still and haven’t been confirmed yet.

Meyers then asks why it’s taken so long for him to schedule his first press conference (which will be today), 63 days after he was elected. Conway claims he’s been very busy selecting his government. And before she can continue with her though after mentioning, “they haven’t had to-,” Meyers steps in and finishes it for her. “They haven’t had to meet with Kanye…” You got her there, Meyers.

Although the two clearly disagreed on most issues, I have to admit I actually really enjoyed watching this interview. I admire Conway’s dedication to her president and I admire Meyers’ dedication to speaking up for the rest of us.
