2. Take time for yourself

There’s a lot to be said about enjoying a huge mug of tea while curled up under a blanket in front of some Netflix. It’s the little things that will get you through the day. Sometimes, we’re so focused on what we have to do and what we’ve got to do in order to make ends meet, we lose sight of ourselves and what makes us happy.

We’re always going to have obligations, to our jobs, our friends, or our significant others. But the more we try to please everyone else around us, the easier it is to forget about the one person we’re with 24/7. Taking a little moment out of the day for some self-reflection time while listening to your favorite song can help immensely. It’s always a good idea to check in with yourself, making sure you’re treating yourself the way you want, and deserve to be treated.

You can make this process a daily thing, or you can try and take a nice day for yourself weekly. If you’re not a loner like myself, this tip can apply to time spent with loved ones. A fun night out with friends or a Netflix session with the BF/GF. Basically anything where you can take pause and enjoy all the fun little moments life can bring.
