Po-Zu Will Make Poe Dameron Sneakers for Star Wars Fans

It seems like these new sneakers from Po-Zu will be an easy way to declare your status as a member of the Resistance… or at least a Star Wars fan.

It is a good time to be a Star Wars fan, especially if you enjoy also wearing geeky clothing. With a new Star Wars movie coming out yearly for the near future, that means that new collections will also essentially come out yearly to help continue the hype machine. Of course, we know that that’s the case, but when the new items are so cool, it’s just hard to resist.

For example, here are upcoming Poe Dameron sneakers from Po-Zu, with a hat tip to Fashionably Geek.

Pre-orders will start “in the spring,” according to the caption. Here are the full details: the sneakers are vegan, will come in men’s, women’s and children’s sizes, and have the Rebel Alliance / Resistance logo on the sides of the shoes in rubber. On the inside, there’s a removable piece of memory foam, and you’ll be walking on natural rubber soles. Of course, the bright color alludes to Poe’s flight suit. No price has been announced just yet.

According to Po-Zu, the shoes will actually go on sale sometime in August, which means you could wear these next fall and even to the Star Wars: Episode VIII premiere in December. Ditto with the already-announced Rey boots. Okay, we know that the Rey boots probably go with more things, but sometimes a pop of color doesn’t go amiss.

Basically, you could wear these shoes and know that any and all lip bites, dramatic escapes from First Order bases, and especially dramatic attacks will be made that much better by these shoes. If you won’t be piloting any X-Wings, know that you will still be cool with these shoes on.
