Television Categories: Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television

Some of the best television we have nowadays comes in the form of mini-series or limited run shows. From The People v. O.J Simpson to The Night Manager, some of the best performances out there are in this category.

Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television

The People v. O.J Simpson: An American Crime Story gave audiences and inside look at the story we already knew so well. We got to see the fighting and the worry that we all read about in the papers but with this limited series, we actually got to see the truth behind it all.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television

Courtney B. Vance did such an amazing job with Johnnie Cochran in The People v. O.J Simpson. So good, in fact, you hated watching him because of how obnoxious and annoying he could be. But that was who Johnnie was, and Courtney played the part  perfectly.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television

Sarah Paulson continues to shine time and time again but nothing quite like her performance as Marcia Cross in The People v. O.J Simpson. Much like the rest of her cast, she is definitely going to win. And she should! She was wonderful.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television

Sterling K. Brown also did an incredible job in The People v. O.J Simpson. Again, I truly believe that it is going to sweep most the categories it is nominated in, if not all of them.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television

Thandie Newton may be a long shot to win but her performance in Westworld was so incredible that I just couldn’t pass her up. She was wonderful and she truly deserves to be recognized for her work.
