Golden Globe Predictions: Who Will Win at the 74th Annual Awards?

The drama category isn’t as straightforward for television, so this is all going to be a bit more of wishful thinking. There’s nothing more that I want than Stranger Things taking home awards. But let’s be real, we know it’s probably going to be Game of Thrones.

Stranger Things came crashing into everyone’s lives, and we haven’t been able to stop talking about it since. The show seemed to come out of nowhere on Netflix this last year and follows a group of kids as they try to find their friend Will Byers who was taking into the Upside Down.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Drama

Liev Schreiber has been nominated time and time again for his role in Ray Donovan, and he really deserves to win. Ray can so easily be portrayed as a terrible man but Liev brings a reality to him that the character could easily lack otherwise.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama

Claire Foy plays Queen Elizabeth in the Netflix hit The Crown and she does it in such a way that it brings a humanity to the queen that not many have gotten to see. She is a wonderful actress and does incredible and this is definitely not going to be the first nomination for her.
