Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 2 Episode 9 Recap: When Do I Get to Spend Time with Josh?

In the second episode of a two part winter premiere, this episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend had us exploring Paula and Rebecca being back together.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend had a back to back special, and it showed us that Rebecca is growing bit by bit. Well, at least we hope she is. She has to deal with falling in love, fixing her friendship, and trying to save multiple jobs when Darryl Whitefeather decides to sell the firm.

There’s good news for Rebecca: Nathaniel, the new owner, is handsomely attractive. Bad news? He wants to ruin her life.

Rebecca and Josh in Love

The beginning of the episode starts with Josh and Rebecca spending four whole days being completely in love with each other. In these four glorious days, they even admit to loving each other.

And on the fourth day, they try and both ditch out on work to go to Roaring Rapids. Too bad that they never manage to get there, and then the entire episode is spent with Rebecca trying to fix a work problem while she wants to be with Josh.

New Lawyer in Town

Nathaniel buys more the shares in the company than Darryl has and decides to make some changes. If Rebecca doesn’t come up with $250,000 by Friday at 8 a.m., five people get fired. One of those people is Paula.

So most the episode is spent with Rebecca calling people and trying her hardest to get the money to save everyone. There are moments when she is with Josh and ruin it because she either keeps talking about Nathaniel or sees Nathaniel there but mostly Rebecca is just working towards saving jobs.

And in the end, she does, because it’s Rebecca and she always ends up doing the right thing. Even if it is in a super weird way.
