 1. Caught in a Lie

Juju starts by asking Yandy if she is legally married. Kimbella jumps in that she was at the wedding! Yandy explains that she and Mendeecees have an agreement between themselves and before God, but no, they are not legally married. She claims that she never sent off the paperwork! Yandy says she is in music and “one step from being a billionaire, but also one scandal away from losing it all.”

Besides if she were to send in the paperwork, it would also make her responsible for Mendeecees child support payments. Her girls are behind her, but is that enough? Do her reasons justify her lie?

Yandy talks to Mendeecees later and it turns out that he didn’t even know that they weren’t married. He thought that she had sent the paperwork in, once his case was closed. She tells him the truth and he asks her why. Mendeecees says that his case is over and closed, so she should send the paperwork in. Yandy says that their marriage in front of their friends, family, and God is enough for her, and as far as the government goes, she could just rip those papers up. Mendeecees says okay, then hangs up on her.

Meanwhile, Erika has changed her locks back. She and Samantha talk to her lawyer, who explains that Yandy did break the law. She tells Erika that Mendeecees couldn’t even change the locks on her without going to court. They discuss the possibility of a restraining order, which Erika claims is unnecessary because if Yandy keeps it up, things will get bad. Her lawyer also informs them that Yandy and Mendeecees are not married.
