9. Andrew Rannells

You know him from Girls, from Bachelorette, from Why Him? and a whole slew of other movies and television shows. But did you know that Andrew got his start in the very popular, very much award winning musical known as the Book of Mormon? 

Yup, sweet Andrew is one of ours and we’re never going to give him back. He is ours forever and always now, and we will always bring him back whenever we need him. Want to know how we know this? Because in the last year, Rannells has returned to Broadway twice in high ticket musicals just because he can.

He took over as Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch before taking over for Jonathan Groff in Hamilton as King George. Basically, the boy has pipes and he knows how to use them. And boy, don’t we love it when he does.

The thing about Andrew is that he has that very typical ‘Broadway voice’ but there is something very special about hearing him hit those high notes.

So, Andrew, hopefully, someone will let you lead a show again soon. We definitely want it. And what the public wants, the public should definitely get. Maybe you can even get a show at the Public!
