3. Say Yes to the Dress – TLC – 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Aww, how sweet. Marriages. That magical union where people fall in love with each other and decide to make it official with a beautiful ceremony, topped off with a perfect white dress. (No, I’m not bitter, why do you ask?) For those on the constant quest to find the ideal gown, this is a marathon that’s right up your aisle. TLC’s got you covered again with a New Year’s Day marathon of Say Yes to the Dress, both original and Atlanta, starting at 5:00 a.m. Sunday and ending 6:00 p.m. that same day.

This show follows the events in Manhattan’s Kleinfeld Bridal, where blushing bride after blushing bride comes in with a different story about how she met the love of her life. And it ain’t a wedding without the perfect dress. It’s a show that’s sure to make you laugh, cry, and maybe get a bit jealous at times, but it’s all in good fun. You can watch the Atlanta version (which follows Bridals by Lori) from 5:00 a.m. until noon, until the marathon switches over to the New York version at 12:00 p.m..

If you (accidentally) tied the knot in Las Vegas after too much New Year’s Eve champagne, you can watch this marathon for some great dress ideas for the next wedding (Or your re-commitment ceremony after pledging your love to one another in Vegas. I’m forever the optimist).
