12. Counting Cars – History Channel – 8 a.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday

It’s another Pawn Stars spin-off, this time with an automotive twist. Counting Cars chronicles the business of Danny “The Count” Koker, one of many guest experts on the hit History Channel show. But this time, we get to see him run his own shop, Count’s Kustoms, also based in Las Vegas. And you can watch too with this History Channel marathon, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Saturday and ending at 4:00 a.m. Sunday.

Koker and his staff work tirelessly on automobile restoration and customization. They take old junker cars and make them shine like new, each with their own beautiful, tailor made flair to them. I’ve got to be honest, most of the time the specific details about cars is just a bunch of jargon to me, but you don’t have to be an auto expert to appreciate the time, effort, and know-how these guys put into making this their life’s work.

The show has six seasons under its belt, and it looks like Season 7 is on the way. And sometimes, if you’re lucky, some folks from the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop just might stop by! If you’ve got a craving to see some one-of-a-kind choppers, cars, or cycles being created, you can’t go wrong with this marathon.
