21 TV Marathons Worth Watching this New Year’s Eve Weekend

If you find yourself needing some comfort TV before 2017 kicks off, we’ve got 21 TV marathons set to air this weekend for all your couch cuddling needs!

New Year’s Eve and Day both amazingly fall on a weekend this year, and after the terrible 2016 we’ve had, we consider it a blessing.

If you’re one of those folks who’d rather chill at home instead of brave the cold in the middle of Times Square, we salute you. A good round of TV is way better than being crammed into Midtown Manhattan anyway. And since we’re all in that lull period between Christmas and a brand new year, why not snuggle up with a loved one and enjoy some of these TV marathons we found for you?

Most of these are from cable networks, but others you can watch at your leisure if you’ve got access to full-time streaming sites. We know how convenient those sites can be if you’ve got a little extra cash. Either way, these lineups look pretty sweet, and we wish we could watch them all, but we know our limits. Most of these start tomorrow, so be aware, you may be able to watch more than one marathon! We’re also aware some of these channels will have early-morning paid programming, but for now, we’re going to skip that since you’ll probably be snoozing at that time anyway.
