17 Old TV Shows That Deserve A Netflix Reboot Right Now

If you’re the same kind of Sex and The City fan, you know that the endless rumors about more movies just doesn’t really scratch the itch. Maybe the stars are just too big to go back to their TV roots, or maybe they’ve just outgrown their television moment, but I haven’t heard one thing about a legitimate reboot.
The HBO series went off the air in 2004, and has since spawned two very successful movies, but I just don’t think we’ve heard enough from these ladies. I’d like to see HBO cast some young actresses and feature some stories about a bigger picture of how they came to be. Maybe we could also have this new series not told exclusively from Carrie’s narrative point of view.
Some folks think we’ve hit our saturation point with these characters, but my suggestion is to rework this series into an actual prequel. No, the dreck The CW tried to sell as an origin story with The Carrie Diaries does not count. Recast these characters as silly twenty-somethings, give them money, parent and existential problems and just let them ride it out until the Sex and The City space/time continuum loops back onto itself.
