Everything that was old is new again, and there’s no shame in nostalgia. Here are 17 old television shows that deserve a reboot on Netflix right now.
Here’s a list of 17 old shows that deserve a reboot right now, no questions asked. Well, that’s a little strong. There are always some questions going to be asked, but trust us that we’re taking them on a case by case basis.
We’re living in a time when nothing stays dead or gone for very long. Call it the zombie effect or nostalgia, or just plain old lack of original thought from TV creators, but it’s very trendy these days to rethink, reimagine, and reboot shows that have already had their day. Just look at the recent success of reboots like Gilmore Girls, X-Files, and the upcoming Twin Peaks. We just can’t get enough of what we already know. We are willing to cannibalize pretty much anything for the sake of our own entertainment, and we can be a shameless bunch. Case in point: Fuller House, seasons one and two.
