2. Clinton and Bin Laden

This one is a little more personal because I remember that night clear as day. I was in college and we were studying for exams when the news came in. The whole school went crazy and ran around with the American flag waving proudly.

And when that picture of Hillary Clinton in the Situation Room emerged, I cried. A woman was there, at the front of it all, helping take down a man who has ruined a portion of my life. And it was something else to see. It was the first time many of us had seen a woman at the front of something like that and it was truly inspiring to watch.

Hillary Clinton did amazing work as the Secretary of State and many people are going to remember the Obama administration for his healthcare reform rather than his legalization of gay marriage and his defeat of Bin Laden.

But we’ll all remember, because we know what is important to look at. Obama and his cabinet have treated this country to the best eight years we’ve seen in a long while and part of that has to do with Hillary Clinton. Without her, it wouldn’t have been the same at all.
