15. Hill on Fulfilling her Profession

"I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas, but what I decided to do was to fulfill my profession which I entered before my husband was in public life."

Many women are told to just stay home. It is a fact of life we all have to admit. I grew up in a family where my mom was the main bread winner and she still made time for her kids. She taught me that women can do whatever they put their minds to. And now Hillary taught that to us all.

For those of us who didn’t have a mother like mine, Hillary is the one who is showing everyone that we can do whatever we want in life and still have a family. We don’t have to be confined to our homes to let our husbands shine.

Hillary Rodham Clinton proves time and time again that she is a force to be reckoned with. She makes sure that everyone knows she will be there with her family but she is also going to fulfill her professional goals. And because of that, we all have learned that we can do whatever we want if we just push ourselves towards our goals.
