23. Hillary on Living Your Life

"You have just one life to live. It is yours. Own it, claim it, live it, do the best you can with it."

Everyone gets so worried about the greater things in life that we forget that our life is ours to live. This quote from Hillary reminds us that we have to just live our lives the best way we know how and move on from there. We can’t get bogged down in everything going on in the world.

That’s not to say we don’t need to be aware of things happening around us but rather that our life is ours to live. If we want to spend our days fighting for what is right in this country, then that is our choice. But we cannot force others to have the same views or to feel the same way. Everyone has to decide for themselves what works for them.

For Hillary, she dedicated her life to serving this country politically and she probably will continue to do so even after losing the election. That is just who Hillary is. And so she wants us all to just be who we are and do what is right for us. And that is truly inspiring. Don’t be what people want you to be. Be who you want yourself to be and do what you want to.
