Season 4: Kris & Eric’s Two Headed Monster

Season 4 was also when Syfy started posting professional full body shots of every make up every week. And thank heavens, because otherwise we’d never have a good look at this two-headed creation by Eric Fox and Kris Kobzina.

When I first looked at this I knew it was a success because I couldn’t figure out for a moment where the model was. Turns out the model is Jack, the man the two-headed giant is holding, and the puppetry is the model working the giants arms, not their heads.

Speaking of which, those gigantic heads are pretty damn awesome. This was “nail on head” what the judges were looking for. (Ve laughed her head off at it when she did the up close inspection.) One of the best aspects was that they had a very large model to begin with and they made him the smallest character on stage. At the time, it was noted to be the biggest makeup ever seen on the Face Off stage. The judges may not have been that fond of Eric Fox’s work overall, but they couldn’t deny that this was all his idea and gave him the win.
