15 reasons the Star Wars Holiday Special is actually terrible

1. Just the Whole Thing
The entire thing is just a mess and no one knows what is happening with it. Mainly because they didn’t know what they were doing. I’m sure this entire thing was just a mistake and they figured that maybe if they hid it away, no one would talk about it.
But then the internet happened and it ended up on YouTube, so everyone could criticize it. George Lucas hates it and everyone else does as well. But at least they aren’t responsible for writing it. George is. We should have known then that George isn’t the best writer. He’s the idea man but we should never let him take over the dialogue.
So now, we have this holiday special that every Star Wars fan needs to sit through at least once in their lives. Obviously, we are a curious group of people, so we have to watch it. We have to know if it is really as bad as everyone says it is.

Just to save you all, if you haven’t seen the show, do not bother. It is terrible and anyone who has seen it will tell you as much. Save yourself while you still can and just do not watch the Star Wars Holiday Special.
