Cosplays for the Holidays: 11 Costume Ideas for Your Holiday Party

Dust off your cosplay from ComicCon season. This year, Culturess will inspire you to cosplay as your favorite characters for the holidays.

Let’s face it. We don’t really need an excuse to wear our favorite cosplays and costumes. Alas, holiday time means dress up time. Every year, we attend holiday work parties, house parties, family parties and more. The question is always: what do we wear? Do you pull out the same cocktail dress you’ve worn for the past three years, or do you try and do something a little daring? 

Since nerd culture is alive and well, why not take a few cues from our favorite fandoms? 

While we’ll separate the men and women characters, please change things up as you see fit. We all know ladies can rock a good Doctor, but I’d love to see a man in a good Queenie cosplay. For the non-binary folk, go to town and be as creative as you want to be! Group cosplays and couple cosplays are also encouraged. Themed drinks would be a bonus if you’re hosting the party, but that’s for another post!
