3. The Yule Ball

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry and the other champions of the Triwizard Tournament have to dance at the Yule Ball. And while it is a fun scene that includes a rock bad singing about a hippogriff, the Yule Ball itself represents something more.

It is all about the Triwizard Tournament that year. Every single thing is about the next task and trying to figure out how to survive. But the Yule Ball shows Harry and his friends finally relaxing. They all get to enjoy themselves and be kids.

It isn’t so much about the champions and their work but rather just about having fun. Harry and Ron get to ask girls to the dance. They might not be who they wanted to ask but it is the first time we see them have real crushes.

The Yule Ball is just beautiful. It truly shows us a beautiful Christmas dance. It is decorated wonderfully, and they are all dressed in their best dress robes. Honestly, the Yule Ball is one of the few times we just see everyone having fun. Of course it ends in drama but when it is just pure fun, it is amazing to watch.
