Harry Potter means a lot to its fans, but there is something special about the series and the holidays. Here are our reasons why they are Christmas movies.
The Harry Potter series is significant to its fans for a lot of reasons. Whether it was because you read the books as a kid or you went to the midnight premieres or something different, there is something about the series that draws you in and keeps you there.
But there is something special about Christmastime and the Harry Potter stories. Both within the story itself and for its fans, we tend to always think of the boy who lived when the holidays roll around. While it is probably because of the ABC Family / Freeform Harry Potter weekends or the fact that many of the movies came out during this time of year, the series itself also has a special feeling towards Christmas.
So we’re going to look at the series and see why it is, in fact, a Christmas series. By documenting all the moments that there was a significant event at Christmas, you can see why the Harry Potter movies are and should be classified as Christmas movies.
